ATTENTION! Summer Hours Now in Effect! - The Hardin County Family YMCA is now operating under summer hours from April 1 - October 31. Those hours are as follows:
Monday - Thursday: 5:30am - 9:00pm
Friday: 5:30am - 7:30pm
Saturday: 9:00am - 4:00pm
Sunday: CLOSED

ATTENTION! 'Go Fly a Kite Day' is Coming! - Join the community in celebrating the YMCA's 1st Annual 'Go Fly a Kite Day' on Saturday June 17, 2017 at the Corner Kick Soccer Complex from noon-3pm! This family-oriented event will feature kite-building and flying for kids, advanced kites flown by the PIGS Aloft kite club from the Cincinnati area and other local kite enthusiasts, games, food and more. See the attached flyer for more info. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity for fun for all ages....come join us!!

GOBA 29! Great Ohio Bicycle Adenture Supported by your Hardin County Family YMCA. Day 5 of GOBA has riders converging on Kenton during the day of 6/23/17. Most bikers will be staying at the fairgrounds, however the YMCA is offering two different sleeping options - 1) Air-conditioned Community Room or 2) non-air-conditioned gym floor space. Showers and optional amenities also available during bikers stay. See Download for details and registration form.

FINDING NEMO FISHING CAMP July 24th through 28th - This camp will will be for children ages 6 to 11 years old and will be held at Boy Scout Lake. $25 for members and $50 for non members. Limited space deadline to register is July 20th. There will be daily fishing activities, crafts and snacks. Fishing poles and bait will be provided.

FREE FAMILY FISHING DAY & PICNIC July 29th from 10:00am-12:00pm - Bring your family, chairs, and fishing tackle and join us for this free event at Boy Scout Lake.

HABITAT FOR FISH AND US September 23rd from 9:00am-11:00am - Boy Scout Lake. Everyone welcome to come help us pick up trash around the lake. We will learn about how our trash effects the environment and those who live in it, and what we can all do to help.

All events are sponsored by a grant from the Ohio Department of Wildlife.

New Class Program Registration Procedure

To better plan and serve its' members, the Hardin County Family YMCA unveils its new procedure for signing up for classes each month! Sign-ups for future next month's classes need to be done by the last Thursday of each month and have a minimum of 4 signed-up in a class for it to be held. Youth Development


Tumbling is one part of the popular sport of gymnastics and has grown to be a large part of cheerleading and dance today. Not limited to kids in gymnastics or cheerleading, but for all athletes looking to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Classes meet Saturdays. Instructed by Tori McDaniel.

How Does it Work?

The Think Recycle Program is a community based collection program where the YMCA can collect unwanted cell phones, print cartridges and digital cameras and turn them in for cash rebates. It's simple; just return your unwanted products to the YMCA.
