SILLY SATURDAY! Let the kids come play! - The Hardin County Family YMCA will be hosting a Silly Saturday for children ages 3-12 on January 14, 2017 from 9:00a-12:00p. Please sign up at the front desk by January 10th!

UPGRADED SWIM LESSON CURRICULUM BEGINS IN JANUARY! Don't miss out - Sign Up Today! - Your YMCA will be moving to the new skill-based swim lesson curriculum rolled out by the national YMCA in January, 2017. The new swim lessons are great for ages 6 months to senior citizens. The new curriculum will kick off with swimming assessments on Thursdays at 5:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. See the attached for all the details.

New Class Program Registration Procedure

To better plan and serve its' members, the Hardin County Family YMCA unveils its new procedure for signing up for classes each month! Sign-ups for future next month's classes need to be done by the last Thursday of each month and have a minimum of 4 signed-up in a class for it to be held. YMCA Made to Move!

Three new tumbling/cheerleading activities are available and lead by Kelsie Camper-Snook.

Tumbling

Tumbling is one part of the popular sport of gymnastics and has grown to be a large part of cheerleading and dance today. Not limited to kids in gymnastics or cheerleading, but for all athletes looking to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Classes meet Mondays and Tuesdays.

The Y's Hardin Heat Cheer team is a top level cheer team that competes in competitions all around the region. The season begins yearly in spring, see the Y for details about tryouts.

How Does it Work?

The Think Recycle Program is a community based collection program where the YMCA can collect unwanted cell phones, print cartridges and digital cameras and turn them in for cash rebates. It's simple; just return your unwanted products to the YMCA.
